Founded in 2010, SGP Garden Machinery Ltd began as a family-run business with a simple mission: to provide expert, reliable service for garden and estate machinery in Wirksworth and across Derbyshire.
Over nearly 16 years, we've built strong relationships with our customers, ranging from homeowners maintaining their gardens to professional landscapers, golf courses, estates, and contractors throughout the Midlands.

SGP isn't just a business — it's a family legacy that spans three generations. It started with Robin Hood, Stephen's grandfather, who passed down his love for machinery and meticulous craftsmanship.
Today, Stephen continues that tradition, leading SGP with the same values his grandfather instilled: honesty, skill, and pride in every job. And now, his 7-year-old son Albert is already showing a passion for the trade, spending time in the workshop and learning the family craft.
