Use Fresh Fuel
This is the #1 rule. Fuel older than 30 days can cause starting issues and damage. We strongly recommend Aspen alkylate fuel for ultimate reliability and engine health.
PRO TIPS:
- •Never use fuel left in a can over winter.
- •Ensure the fuel can be clean and free of water.
- •Aspen fuel has a shelf life of up to 5 years.
Check Spark Plug
A clean spark plug is vital for ignition. A new plug is a cheap and effective way to ensure a first-time start.
PRO TIPS:
- •Check the plug is clean and the electrode isn't worn.
- •Ensure the ceramic isn't cracked.
- •Replace if in any doubt.
